Welcome!

I think this would probably be a good time to introduce myself.

Hey, I’m Halee (yep, that’s me over on the side). If we’re going to be friends, there are a few things you should probably know about me…

1. I love coffee. A lot. It greatly enhances the quality of my life. Plus, it makes me smile and do a little happy dance (which looks suspiciously like the Charlie Brown dance).

2. I truly care about people. I absolutely love giving advice to teens who email us at Real Teen Faith. I consider it an honor and a privilege to be a part of someone’s life, if only for a moment.

3. I have opinions. Like, dark chocolate is way better than milk chocolate. White walls are a tragedy. And Jimmy Stewart was the best actor of all time.

4. I name inanimate objects. My Nissan Versa is named Luna, my keyboard is Selah, and my DSLR camera is Orli. The elevators at the end of my hall are Elmer and Homer. I guess I figure if I name things, they’re more likely to be nice to me, or maybe it’s just my way of showing appreciation. Who knows? If nothing else, it makes me smile.

Those are just some tidbits about me and my quirky, compassionate, and creative self. Now that you know a little about me, I’d love to hear about you!

Welcome to my blog!

LOVING the new blog! I was just wishing the other day that you had one 🙂 🙂
I share exactly 2 of your strongly held opinions… Jimmy Stewart was the greatest actor of all time, and white walls are indeed a tragedy. But I’m afraid I’m a milk chocolate junkie for life =D

I name inanimate objects too! My Asus laptop’s name is Guido, and my Honda’s name is Rhonda 🙂

    Welcome to blogland!

Thanks Abbie! Milk chocolate, hmm? Oh well, you can still be my friend. 😀

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who names objects.. makes me feel less weird, haha!

Oh, I definitely talk to them too, Shannon! You’re not alone in your craziness. 😀 I try to make it a habit to thank Elmer or Homer, whichever elevator decides to give me a lift (thankfully I’m usually alone in the elevator). And I make it a point to tell Luna how great she is… I really love that car.

Hey! I love the blog design! So cute. I have a thing for unique journals. I have a large chest that I’m constantly filling with new journals. 😀

Thanks Debra! Personally, I think about journals the same way I think about earrings: you can never have too many!

    Hello Halee!

I absolutely have to say that I LOVE your blog design. It’s beautiful, unique, and terribly wonderful. Among other things, I love your posts, your love for poetry, and have to disagree with you on {almost} all of your opinions. Dark chocolate is indeed better than milk chocolate; hands down (or up, as you prefer). However, white walls are satisfyingly clean, and Ioan Gruffudd as well as Colin Firth and other classics tear the honor away from Jimmy Stewart…Henry Fonda, Gregory Peck…yeah, there’s no one best actor.

Haha, and please, feel completely normal for naming inanimate objects. You’re not truly weird until you start naming your body parts.

By the way, Sydney, my right foot, and Jake, my left foot, say hi. 🙂

It’s nice to meet you, Filia! And I’m so glad you like my blog design – I’m a big fan of color and cool designs. And I do agree — Ioan Gruffudd and Colin Firth are certainly great actors. But you should definitely watch Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. Amazing movie. Oh, and You Can’t Take it With You. Seriously funny. Two of my favorite Jimmy Stewart movies.

Tell Sidney and Jake hi for me. 😉
